Job Description:
Position: Senior Technical Program Manager (Berkeley, CA) Duties: Oversee customer deployments and trials from kick-off
to closure. Gather all program information, including
schedules, requirements, data requests, assignments, tasks, and program
meetings. Facilitate the definition of program scope, goals, and
deliverables. Identify and manage risks and scope changes, both internally
and externally. Implement and manage program changes and
interventions to achieve program goals. Manage day-to-day customer interaction
and expectations for multiple and large-scale programs. Lead and
facilitate customer trainings. Create program documentation, including
SOWs, MOPs, Network Architecture, requirements, and specifications. Lead
technical discussions, facilitate creative solutions, and drive design
decisions. Anticipate customers’ needs and propose alternative business
solutions. Provide input to RFP and RFQ responses. Oversee third-party and
vendor service negotiations. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a
related field and three (3) years of experience performing systems engineering
and program management for wireless networks; or in the
alternative, Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
and five (5) years of experience as indicated above. Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): leveraging knowledge
of IP Networks and Wireless Networks call flows and interconnectivity
for LTE, UMTS, CDMA, EVDO, and GSM; DE collaborating with clients’
technical teams on international program deployments; DE interfacing with
clients’ technical and management teams to perform requirements gathering
and assess resources; and DE leveraging MS Project, Visio, Excel,
and PowerPoint in leading technical discussions and client
