more.As a Quantitative Trading Team Lead, you will oversee trading
operations across multiple systematic trading desks spanning listed
and OTC asset classes. You will manage and mentor a team of junior
traders in addition to designing process and technology that
empowers their daily operations. In this role, you need to
proactively identify risks and frictions of the team, then
collaborate with management, research and development, or trading
counterparties to solve them.Responsibilities:Manage and mentor a
team of junior traders with the goal of grooming them into
high-caliber contributors.Oversee daily operations of entirely
systematic trading processes. Be a point of escalation for system
or process failures.Design process and technology for the trading
team or software engineering team to implement, then coordinate the
implementation effort.Develop market microstructure expertise
across regions and asset class.Collaborate with researchers and
engineers on issues relating to production trading
operations.Interface with external brokers or counterparties.Lead
strategic projects as appropriate.Requirements3+ year experience in
systematic trading environments and a passion for markets.A desire
to manage a team. Prior management experience not required.A
zero-tolerance attitude towards errors and a process-oriented
approach to trading.A technical background in Python and R, capable
of designing production technology.Demonstrable clarity of
thought.Willingness to work global market hours as
required.Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.Authorization
to work in the Unites StatesThe base salary range for this position
is $130,000 to $170,000 in the location(s) of this posting.
Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors,
including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge,
skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of
total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits.
