Adventist Health and Rideout is seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist to join our family of physicians just outside of Sacramento in Yuba City, CA. This opportunity is for someone who is interested in helping grow our GI service line, provide exceptional care to our patients and contribute to our organization's mission of delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities: - Work alongside our current inpatient Gastroenterology support team - Help grow our Gastroenterology service line - ERCP and EUS preferred but not required - Clinic volumes above 20 patients per day - 6 days of call coverage a month Qualifications: - 5 years of practice experience required - Medical degree from an accredited medical school - Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine - Fellowship training in Gastroenterology from an accredited institution - Board certification in Gastroenterology - Valid medical license and ability to practice Gastroenterology in California Employed through Physicians Network Medical Group (PNMG) - Starting bonus - 5 weeks of vacation per year - Sick leave and holidays - 401k matching and vested upon hire - Relocation assistance - Position qualifies for Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program Wage Scale: $514,844-648,021/year Apply to learn more about our total compensation* and benefits! *Total compensation may vary based on additional services including ERCP/EUS, call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, etc. Compensation may also vary based on productivity after initial guarantee period. LOCATION: Marysville and Yuba City lie in Northern California’s Sacramento Valley within the Greater Sacramento area, approximately 125 miles northeast of San Francisco and 125 miles west of Reno, Nevada. Nearly 11 million people live within a two-hour drive of the Yuba-Sutter area. The Yuba-Sutter area offers many recreational opportunities, such as fishing, boating, hunting, water skiing, hiking and camping. Residents enjoy warm, dry summers and moderately cold winters. Performances, musical events, poetry readings and multi-cultural celebrations are offered at Yuba Sutter Arts; Fine art galleries are located in both Yuba City and Marysville; Award-winning dance studios offer ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz and modern dance to local youth and adults. Yuba City hosts the Summer Stroll and Christmas Stroll, Punjabi American Festival, 4th of July Parade and the Sikh Parade. In Wheatland, the Toyota Amphitheater – an outdoor theater, located near Plumas Lake and Wheatland California with the capacity of 18,500 is used for concerts, stage shows and other special events. Portions of the Plumas and Tahoe National forests sit in Yuba County, providing numerous campgrounds and day-use facilities.
