Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical controls engineer to join a robotics start-up based in the Berkeley area of the San Francisco Bay.

You will be developing electrical systems that are going to be used in cutting-edge robotic systems. You will be involved in taking products through from paper to production and will also be offered fantastic mentorship opportunities, working closely with the senior engineering team. You will be working in a multidisciplinary R&D team, alongside firmware, mechanical, and robotics engineers.

The base salary for this role is in the region of $130k - $150k and includes meaningful equity, comprehensive health coverage, and unlimited paid time off.

Requirements:

+ Degree in electrical engineering or similar subject

+ 2-3 years of experience designing electrical systems

+ Design the electrical specifications & requirements for the product

+ Carry out all relevant documentation

+ Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure a coherant product design
