Organization:ABSMC-Ashby CampusPosition Overview:The Stationary Engineer shall, under the direction of the Chief Engineer, or the Assistant Chief Engineer, shall provide maintenance and repair of all hospital equipment; operate plant and auxiliary equipment; repair plant operation equipment; uses electric and gas welding tools and systems; operates machine shop equipment; installs new equipment and repairs existing equipment; performs repairs and maintenance on refrigeration equipment, compressors, pumps and HX units; and operates pick-up truck for transporting equipment and supplies to campuses.Job Description:EDUCATION

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
• HS Diploma or equivalent education/experienceCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
  • EPA CFC Universal Certification
  • DL-California Drivers Class CPREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
    • Actual job experience in journeyman standing.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
      • Stationary Engineer Skill SetPay Range 62.55The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
