- Assists in the development and implementation of production and
tooling methodologies.
- Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in
the integration of technical solutions.
- Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual
designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
- Assists in implementing manufacturing plans.
- Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation
of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and
concepts.
- Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and
technologies.
- Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and
internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and
experience.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.
Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US
Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance
Post-Start is required.This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of
the listed location options.Basic Qualifications:
- Prior engineering experience in a manufacturing or production
role
- Experience in Lean process implementation
- ABET Accredited or equivalent B.S. or higher in Engineering,
Math, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Physics -Preferred
Qualifications:
- B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical
Engineering
- Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
- Experience with 3D model based instruction
- Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES,
Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim,
3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO,
Multi-Monitor Collaborative Rooms
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image
(MESci)Typical Education & Experience:Associate (Level 2):
Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an
engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in
an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of
Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the
preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Mid-Level
(Level 3): Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years'
experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree
with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering
classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering
classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree
from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer
science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This
