bottom-line is “YOU” matter! “A Day in the Life” Refurbishes,
maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, hand and power tools,
machinery, and components. Performs routine maintenance and
troubleshooting on power tools and industrial light equipment.
Identifies parts for replacement and machines that need new parts
and places orders as necessary. Assists the warehouse in material
handling and requisition as needed. May operate forklift. “What
You’ll Do” • Assist with diagnosing and repairing basic facility
and equipment issues • Perform routine inspections and preventative
maintenance to help reduce downtime • Support maintenance of
hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems under supervision •
Help refurbish, clean, and test hand tools, power tools, and small
machinery • Identify tools or equipment needing repair and help
with part ordering • Follow manuals, instructions, and
pre-established procedures when troubleshooting • Assist with
maintaining proper documentation of repairs and maintenance work •
Keep tools, equipment, and machinery in safe operating condition •
Help coordinate will-call and parts pick-ups • Assist the warehouse
team with material handling as needed • Receive and enter materials
into the warehouse system • Operate a forklift to move or retrieve
materials • Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times •
Support setup of new equipment or machinery • Other duties as
assigned “Must Haves” • 1–2 years of experience in maintenance,
tool repair, warehouse, construction, or a related hands-on role •
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn more advanced
maintenance skills • Ability to follow written and verbal
instructions • Ability to safely operate equipment and follow
safety policies • Comfortable working inside and outside in varying
weather conditions • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention
to detail • Basic understanding of tools, mechanical equipment, or
warehouse operations Special Considerations: Position requires
manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for
most of the day Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or
lift a variety of objects Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel,
crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activities Flexibility
