Based in our Transportation & Logistics department, this role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our refrigeration units, ensuring that our vast range of products, which exceeds 350,000 items, reaches our clients safe and fresh. This position is dynamic and essential, placing you at the heart of our operations, where you will be directly contributing to the success and reliability of our services. Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on refrigeration units within our fleet, ensuring they comply with all safety and operational standards. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with refrigeration systems, using both mechanical and electronic techniques. Maintain accurate records of scheduled maintenance, repairs, parts inventory, and order supplies as needed. Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to plan maintenance around fleet schedules to minimize downtime. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, actively participating in safety training sessions and updates. Proficient in mechanical and electronic repair of refrigeration units and heavy equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication and collaboration skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k EPA Section 608 Certification preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
