Grabango is the leading provider of checkout-free shopper technology for existing stores. Founded by Will Glaser (former founder & CTO of Pandora Media), the Grabango team has developed the only enterprise class solution for large store chains in the market today.
Grabango has raised over $75 million in funding since 2017, with $39 million in Series B announced in June 2021. The round was led by Commerce Ventures with participation from Founders Fund, Unilever Ventures, Honeywell Ventures, Rich Products Ventures, and WIND Ventures. Grabango has signed five retail partners, each over $1 billion in revenue, including a global top-10 grocer and a Fortune-25 multinational. Several multi-store deployments are underway. The company has filed 40 patents, and the earliest ones that predate most prior art in the category have already been awarded.

About The Role:
As the VP of Product, you will own the strategy and execution of our products -- web and mobile. You will lead and build a strong team of product owners and designers. You will define and drive our product strategy and roadmap. You'll also roll your sleeves up and get things done (and love doing it!). You'll be responsible for leading, nurturing, and growing a product culture of continuous and rapid testing and learning throughout our company. - You will also play a key role on the executive team, bringing your product experience and perspective to company level strategy discussions on an ongoing basis.
This full-time role reports directly to the CTO and is based in Berkeley.
What You'll be Doing:
Responsibilities


  • Ability to influence and negotiate at the top executive level, with well-documented successful outcomes.
  • Ability to confidently present complicated and/or delicate, risk-filled issues/scenarios convincingly and effectively.
  • Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering and other departments.
  • Experience managing and developing new marketing programs with clear data-driven results.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - superb storyteller.
  • Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

    Requirements

    • 8+ years of Global product marketing experience launching new products
    • 2+ years of experience building, leading and growing high-performing marketing teams
    • Expertise in all product marketing functions, including messaging and positioning, pricing, competitive analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis, product launch management, product strategy, marketing strategies, and sales tool development, leveraging customer and market insights to inform product roadmap and market growth.
    • Successful product launches from inception to execution to results
    • Demonstrated broad and comprehensive understanding of different semiconductor equipment, semiconductor applications and processes.

      Education & Certifications:

      • -Education: Master's degree or higher, Certification of Business/Marketing is a plus
