Summary The Associate Production Manager is responsible for
organizing and managing logistics from pre-production through
post-production. In conjunction with the Production Manager, they
support the Producer(s) and Technical Director(s) to complete a
project on budget and on schedule, while meeting the needs of the
client. The Associate Production Manager reports to the Production
Manager and/or the Producer(s) of a given project, and on an
overall basis to the Senior Director of Production Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supporting Production
Manager/Producer(s) to manage all aspects of production Creating
and/or updating show documents, including production schedules and
calendars Participating in production meetings Creating and/or
updating production lists (gack, hotel, radio, etc) Working
directly with venue and meeting planners regarding F, hotels, etc
Creating, managing and updating venue instructions With Technical
Director, submit permitting and fire marshal plans Managing show
media, final files & content on hard drives Track communication
among Producers, production team, vendors, venue and client Clearly
communicate show logistics through preproduction paperwork
Supervising Production Assistants onsite and managing their daily
activity Managing crew meal schedules, including set up/strike
Ensuring all documents on the server are regularly updated and
shared with the team Creating, managing and maintaining all safety
documents/procedures, including COVID compliance protocols In
conjunction with Producer(s), create and manage the vendor SOWs and
agreements Supporting team on client presentations and site visits
Coordinating talent, as needed Organizing all onsite needs (snacks,
special requests, etc)Other Responsibilities May Include Work with
internal teams to gather information for proposals (as needed)
Participating in team/companies/group activities, training, or
working in other departments Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities) Minimum 1 year in live events or production
Proficiency with standard office apps (MS Office Suite/Google
Suite/Adobe Acrobat) Ability to work independently with little
supervision Detail oriented Analytical and problem-solving skills
Decision making skills Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to
