Marketing Manager for Smart and Progressive Architects in the SF Bay Area (Hybrid)

This position is part of our business development team, providing leadership and mentorship to our Marketing Coordinator, working closely with the Graphics Manager and reporting to the Marketing Director. You will collaborate with firm leadership and manage the pursuit process in a strategic, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will be empowered to take on a wide range of roles and responsibilities driven by your skills and interests. Our ideal marketing partner is engaged, well organized, creative, adaptable, and eager to learn and teach. -Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Coordination/preparation of Proposals & Qualifications packages
• Team interview preparation for project pursuits
• RFQ/RFP lead tracking and research for business development
• Draft written content for project descriptions, resumes, award submittals, PR/publicity, website and social media updates
• General marketing support to Marketing Director and Principals
• Oversee Marketing Coordinator, any interns, and direct administrative support for marketing efforts
• Management of Marketing file structure and database updates
• Collaborate with PR consultants on public relations efforts
• Advanced ability to work under tight deadlines, coordinating several projects at once
• Advanced creative and technical writing skills, grammar and spelling, and editing and proofreading capabilities -Required skills for a successful candidate:
  • Minimum BA/BS degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Marketing or Communications role for a firm in the architecture/engineering/construction field
  • Proficient in both MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, with strong proposal process experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • CRM database management
