exciting opportunity for a Mission Systems Analysis and
Architecture Manager (Level K) in St Louis, MO to lead a diverse
team of engineers developing the Mission Systems suite on one of
Air Dominance's Air Proprietary programs. The successful candidate
will provide mentoring and coaching to all levels of engineers
providing knowledge transfer to aid in growing our next generation
of leaders and engineers. This engineering management role requires
knowledge and experience of system architecture for military
aircraft mission systems.Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads team members performing engineering and technical
activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical
Engineering.
- Mentoring and coaching all levels of engineers providing
knowledge transfer to aid in growing our next generation of leaders
and engineers
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements
policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides
technical management of suppliers and leads process
improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with
customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches,
products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
- Provides specific guidance to team members to ensure effective
performance.
- Demonstrates basic ability to state what is needed to persuade
and convince others without causing defensiveness and to inspire
others to take action.
- Builds relationships to gain support and commitment from
others, promotes ideas with enthusiasm and conviction.
- Be responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of
complex projects.
- Forecast resource needs and hire/develop appropriate personnel
to meet project and daily operating requirements.This position is
expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected candidate will be
required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
-This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance,
for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S.
Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is
considered active)An interim and/or final U.S. top secret clearance
Post Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors of Science degree or higher in Engineering or
technical field.
- Three (3) or more years of experience developing mission
systems architecture.
- One (1) or more years of experience leading or managing
engineering teams.
- One (1) -or more years of experience with electronic systems
engineering development and integration of complex systems using
model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools. -Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Five (5) or more years of experience developing mission systems
architecture.
- Three (3) or more years of experience working on development
programs using Lean/Agile/Scrum methods.
- Three (3) - or more years of experience with electronic systems
engineering development and integration of complex systems using
model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools.
- Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans,
policies and procedures, and products required to effectively
perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with Cameo / MSOSA
- Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance
- Engineering degree ABET accredited is preferred.Relocation:This
