Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring for a Mid-Level Project Management Specialist. The position is located in Berkeley, MO with the contract being held out of Dallas, TX. The AAS Program is a weapon subsystem of the P-8 platform. This position reports directly to the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) Production Program Manager and STL Lead for P-8Responsibilities will include:

  • Serves as the project manager and integrator for spares, repairs, and other out-of-production deliverables
  • Maintains delivery forecasts, monitors parts shortage/need dates
  • Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope
  • Develops and establishes lead time requirements and identifies production constraints
  • Translates data into an actionable plan for implementation within the organization
  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning, and refines the business case
  • Willingness to participate in the P-8 culture of loving music and constantly doing trivia, playing songs before the start of meetings, etc. when appropriate. It can be any music that you enjoy, and must also live the P-8 Working Together "Principles and Practices."This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Berkeley, MO.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. -An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • BACHELORS degree
    • 3+ years of experience in finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, program management, or project management role
    • 3+ years of experience in change management, program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, or Business Operations
    • 3+ years of experience in team schedules, resource management, earned value management, risk management, and project managementPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
      • Experience as a Lead Program Schedule Integrator on a large development and/or production program. -
      • Experience using Open Plan Professional
      • Experience using Microsoft Projects and PowerPointTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
