is actively seeking a Project Manager to join their Berkeley
office. With over 19 offices across the U.S., the award-winning
architecture + design firm specializes in K-12 through
college/university, healthcare, sports and corporate business

forty years, the multidisciplinary studio has created a client base
of more than two-hundred clients, a list that includes university
systems, hospital system, school districts, and Fortune 500
companies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design and
completion of architectural projects as well as overseeing the
teams that produce high quality project deliverables in
construction documents. A Project Manager may work on any/all
phases of development Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design
Development, Construction Documents, Local Agencies, and
Construction Administration. They report to the Client
Executive/Principal Architect on tasks and deliverables and work
directly with him/her to ensure the facilitation of a project's
completion on-time, on/under budget, and according to the company's
quality and client service standards.
The Project Manager role will encompass several critical
responsibilities:
Ensure the project's timely and budget-compliant completion.
Orchestrate and guide the architectural and/or engineering teams,
fostering a seamless, efficient, and coordinated workflow.
Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing vital oversight for
their assignments.
Cultivate and sustain positive client relationships, keeping
clients well-informed about project progress on a regular
basis.
Offer valuable technical guidance to the project team.
Collaborate closely with the Client Executive and/or Principal
Architect, providing support in work delegation and
supervision.
Take the lead in conducting construction administration meetings
on-site, facilitating productive discussions with contractors and
owners.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is required, Master's Degree is
preferred.
Architecture License is preferred.
7 years of professional experience minimum preferred.
Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing
to give assignments to office support staff, consultants, and
vendors.
Willingness to make decisions; exhibit sound and accurate judgment;
support and explain reasoning for decisions; include appropriate
people in decision-making process; make timely decisions.
Must demonstrate proficiency in using AutoCAD/Revit programs.
Working knowledge of graphic programs (SketchUp and Adobe Creative
Suites) a plus.
Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills
required.
Knowledge of building codes required.
