    • Requires knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of specialist Physician duties.
    • Expert clinical skills.
    • Must be able to communicate with both patients and clinical staff members.
    • Must have effective diagnostic and decision making skills in area of specialty/expertise.
    • Must be able to work in a collaborative manner.
    • Must be able to diagnose patient condition and make associated treatment recommendations.
    • Must be able to influence others
    • Requires knowledge of electronic/medical records systems.
    • Must be computer literate.
    • Knowledge, skills and abilities associated with the practice of occupational medicine. Education/Training:
      • Must be Board Certified in Occupational Medicine (as determined by the American Board of Medical Specialists), preferred; OR Board Certified in primary care specialty with additional specialized training or experience in occupational health. Licenses or certifications:
        • Must be in possession of the legal requirements for the practice of medicine in California, as determined by the California Medical Board (possess a valid California medical license).
        • Must maintain CURES registration, BLS certification, and DEA license Preferred Qualifications
          • Preferred to have experience with the California Worker's Compensation system. Salary & Benefits
            • Salary is commensurate with experience in the range of $220,000.00 - $265,000.00 annually (based on 100% FTE)

              • 60-100% FTE, based on selected finalist availability and department staffing needs.
              • Your employment is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a credentialing clearance, background clearance and medical clearance according to University Health Service policies.
