Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN
for a contract in California requiring a current CA RN license,
BLS, ACLS, and flexibility with floating. Responsibilities - Work
in the ICU at a hospital setting - Care for critically ill adult
patients - Day shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 07:00 to
19:30 - Weekend coverage required every other weekend and as needed
by the unit - On-call shifts assigned as needed - Floating may be
required to other units within scope of practice or to other
campuses, with shuttle transportation provided if floating - A
notice of approximately 1.5 hours is typically given prior to shift
start time for floating - Must be able to begin lab work within 3-5
days of signing the contract - Only one holiday request off (RTO)
will be approved during the assignment - Candidate flexibility for
floating and adapting to census or unit need is expected - Shuttle
transportation is available for travelers required to float to
other campuses Requirements - Active CA RN license required -
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum of 3 years
of ICU RN experience required - Must have travel nursing experience
of at least 1 year - Must reside at least 50 miles from the
facility - Candidates who have previously worked at the facility
must have been gone for at least one year prior to consideration
