Nurse-Staff II Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 -
19:30) Experience: 3 Years of RN ICU experience License: State RN
License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Previous charge
experience: 2 years - Charting system experience: Required (Epic
preferred) - Travel experience: Required - Certifications: ACLS,
BLS, CPI, NIHSS Description: The position requires an ICU Nurse to
provide high-quality care in the intensive care unit. Candidates
must have a minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience. The nurse
will care for patients with critical illnesses and may manage
ventilation and monitoring equipment. They will need to be flexible
and willing to float to different units as needed. The nurse will
work 3 shifts of 12 hours per week. Weekend coverage is required
every other week and as needed based on unit needs. The role
involves managing advanced clinical tasks and supporting patients
through acute health crises. Experience with managing arterial
lines, central lines, and care of ventilated patients is essential.
Candidates should possess strong critical thinking and clinical
skills. Knowledge of infection prevention and emergency medication
administration is required. The ability to work as part of an
interdisciplinary team is essential for this position.
