A leading medical center in Berkeley, CA, is seeking experienced Radiotherapy Technologists for a 13-week contract to support the Radiation Oncology department. Schedule/Hours: Monday through Friday Day shift with start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM 5-day, 8-hour shifts Up to 36 hours of on-call availability during the assignment at no cost to the facility Responsibilities: Accurately set up and align patients utilizing various imaging techniques to deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments Assess patient status during direct interaction and make appropriate referrals within the healthcare team Prepare for treatment delivery through tasks such as chart and film review, room setup, calculations, electronic medical record checks, and treatment calendar programming Perform patient positioning and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed Collaborate closely with radiation therapists and team members to support departmental operations Qualifications: Minimum of three years of experience in Radiation Oncology Proficient with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ systems preferred Valid ARRT certification, California Radiation Therapist (CA RTT) license, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills in patient care settings About Berkeley, CA:Berkeley is a vibrant city known for its rich cultural scene, diverse population, and beautiful natural surroundings.
