Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work three 12-hour shifts per week • Maintain 2:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends • Weekend coverage required every other weekend and as needed by unit • On-call availability as needed • May float to other units within scope of practice or to Summit or Herrick Campus • Shuttle transportation provided when floating is requested • 1.5 hours notice typically given prior to shift start for floating assignments • 12-hour orientation with modules completed during orientation (1-5 hours average) • Care for adult and geriatric patients in 30-bed ICU unit with daily census of 12 • Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS • 3 years of RN ICU experience required • Travel experience for more than one year required • Epic charting system experience preferred • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing • 50-mile travel requirement from home address • All certifications must be AHA and available at time of submission • Extensive ICU skills required including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, and care of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center featuring a 30-bed intensive care unit that provides critical care services to adult and geriatric patients.
