ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Berkeley, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend (EOW) requirement • No on-call responsibilities • 2 years of nursing experience required • Must be flexible with floating to other units within scope of practice • May float to Summit or Herrick Campus depending on need/census • 1.5 hours advance notice typically provided for floating assignments • Shuttle transportation provided when floating is required • Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, NIHSS (all must be AHA certified) • Epic charting experience preferred • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing • Complete nursing assessments within 24 hours of patient admission • Provide competent, compassionate patient care from admission to discharge • Administer medications, treatments, and perform nursing skills • Monitor patient conditions and communicate significant changes to physicians • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team members • Complete orientation modules through e-learning system • Only one holiday time-off request will be approved during assignment Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center with multiple campuses providing acute care services.
