Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work three 12-hour shifts per schedule • Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends • Every other weekend requirement plus additional weekends as needed by unit • On-call shifts as needed • May float to other units within scope of practice and to Summit or Herrick Campus with 1.5 hours notice • Shuttle transportation provided for floating assignments • 12 hours of orientation required • 3 years of ICU experience required • Travel experience for more than a year required • Must have 50-mile travel requirement from facility • Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS (all AHA certified) • Epic charting system experience preferred • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing • Care for adult and geriatric patients in 30-bed ICU unit with daily census of 12 • Provide specialized care including neuro intensive care, surgical intensive care, post-operative management • Manage complex equipment including FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, pulmonary artery lines, CVVHD/CRRT • Handle various procedures including sheath removal, chest tube management, arterial line management • Administer emergency medications, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, and procedural sedation • Care for ventilated patients with suctioning and ventilator management responsibilities Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center with a 30-bed intensive care unit that provides advanced critical care services.
