RN in Oakland, California, 94609! Job Title: Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 3 years of RN ICU experience
License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: -
Experience floating to different units as needed - Flexibility to
accommodate unit needs and census Description: RN ICU/CPU needed.
Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NIH. Weekend
requirements include every other weekend and as needed. On-call
responsibilities will be as needed. Candidates should have previous
charge experience and familiarity with charting systems. Experience
in community hospital settings is preferred. Travel experience is
required. Skills required encompass management of patients with
multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, care for patients on ECMO,
and administration of various procedures and medications.
Candidates must also demonstrate proficiency in interpreting
dysrhythmias, managing ventilated patients, and infection
prevention practices. The unit provides interdisciplinary support
including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social
services. Common patient diagnoses include sepsis, respiratory
failure, heart failure, and postoperative care. Special procedures
and equipment experience required includes open heart surgeries and
CRRT. Travel nurses should anticipate float assignments and be
adaptable to changing unit needs. Candidates will need to manage
patient care effectively and comply with established protocols and
