This position provides an opportunity to operate with an
independent nature and with a keen focus on quality care. The Nurse
Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will provide care
through telemedicine as part of Agile’s integrated care model. At
Agile, you can directly and positively affect change every day in
patients’ lives. Schedule: Shifts available Monday through Friday,
7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and Saturday/Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and
7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Compensation: $50.00 per full shift $50.00 per
patient encounter * This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
* Eligible candidates must reside within the state of California.
Responsibilities Provide professional services via telemedicine
utilizing independent professional judgment and expertise. Conduct
remote evaluation, assessment, and triage of patient injuries or
medical conditions, including work-related injuries, as clinically
appropriate. Provide clinical guidance intended to stabilize
patients, determine acuity, and recommend the appropriate level of
care, including referral for in-person evaluation, urgent care, or
emergency services when indicated. Formulate treatment
recommendations, follow-up guidance, and, where applicable,
return-to-work or activity restrictions consistent with
occupational medicine and telemedicine standards. Perform all
services in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local
laws, regulations, and professional standards governing practice
and the delivery of telemedicine services. Collaborate with medical
leadership for purposes of clinical consultation, quality
assurance, peer review, and regulatory compliance, as required by
applicable supervisory or collaborative practice laws. Timely and
accurately document all patient encounters in the electronic
medical record system, as required for clinical, billing, and
compliance purposes. Maintain all required licenses,
certifications, and authorizations necessary to provide
telemedicine services in state in which services are rendered.
Perform all services in a professional manner and in accordance
with applicable standards of care. Requirements: Graduate of an
accredited PA or NP program and an unrestricted California PA/NP
license (or license in progress) Must meet all licensure
requirements for the applicable state of practice Active DEA
registration required Current BLS and AED certification required;
ACLS certification preferred Maintain professional liability
