Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (day shift) Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour Roles & Responsibilities Assist
licensed physical therapists in delivering patient-centered care
and evidence-based treatment plans Implement therapeutic exercises,
modalities, and mobility training to help patients regain function
Monitor patient progress, document clinical observations, and
communicate changes to the PT Provide safe patient handling,
transfers, and ambulation support to promote independence Educate
patients and families on home exercise programs and fall-prevention
strategies Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to
coordinate comprehensive care Qualifications Licensed Physical
Therapist Assistant (PTA) or eligible for licensure in California
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to
start) Prior experience in post-acute, skilled nursing, or
rehabilitation settings preferred Strong clinical judgment,
excellent communication skills, and a patient-first attitude
Education Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant
program Knowledge & Skills Familiarity with therapeutic exercise
progressions and modalities used in rehab Skilled in safe patient
handling, transfers, and gait training Comfortable with clinical
documentation and electronic health record systems Ability to teach
and motivate patients and family members Teamwork, time management,
and adaptability in a fast-paced post-acute environment Benefits
