We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work under the direction of our physical therapists to implement therapeutic plans and deliver outstanding care to patients across our inpatient rehabilitation and home health settings. This position offers the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on recovery and quality of life for patients recovering from severe injuries and illnesses. Assist physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans for patients. Perform clinical tasks including exercises, manual therapy techniques, and use of therapeutic modalities. Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team. Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention. Maintain accurate patient care records and document treatment results. Adhere to all clinical and safety regulations regarding patient care. Proficiency in implementing physical therapy directives. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of clinical safety protocols.
