Job Description:

As a Housekeeping Coordinator with Accor you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every Guest, ensuring Guest rooms are comfortable, inviting and clean. The luxury our Guests experience will ensure their return. Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve as a principal source of information for the team
  • Prepare and maintain your departments records
  • Create the daily assignment for the room, public area and deep cleaning attendants
  • Ensure that all rooms receive daily housekeeping service in a timely manner
  • Maintain a consistent flow of information within the department.
  • Communication with the Front Desk regarding rooms and guests in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Communication with the Facilities department regarding maintenance needs and follow up in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Communication between housekeeping staff and management.
  • Use multitasking skills to monitor arrivals and stayover cleans, reassigning as necessary
  • Monitor Do Not Disturb rooms and follow the established procedure
  • Monitor guest requests through Royal Service portal, ensuring timely completion of all tickets
  • Monitor linen runner activities and productivity
  • Assist housekeeping team with inventories, linen supplies etc.
  • Ensure service standards and individual performances are aligned with Accor Values - Guest Passion, Trust, Sustainable Performance, Spirit of Conquest, Innovation and Respect.
  • Follow sustainable procedures and practices that support Planet 21 initiatives (Accors Corporate Social Responsibility program).
  • Show care for assigned work areas by organizing and maintaining the office and work areas in pristine condition throughout and at the end of shift.
  • Able to organize own work flow to ensure completion of all assigned duties before the end of shift.
  • Exercise flexibility and accept changes with a positive attitude by showing understanding and consideration to the needs of the operations and department.
  • Fully understand the difference in guest hierarchy and different room categories.
  • Attend and contribute to colleague meeting and any other related activities.
  • Undertake and performs any additional duties as assigned by Managers. Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interests
  • Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion
  • Competency using a variety of computer software- Opera and HotSOS experience a plus
