Job Description:
Marriott International seeks a dedicated and vigilant Loss
Prevention Officer to join our team, ensuring the safety and
security of our premises, guests, and associates. As a key member
of the safety and security team, you will be crucial in preventing
incidents, managing risks, and maintaining order while upholding
the values and quality standards of Marriott, a leader in global
hospitality with an extensive network of properties across 139
countries. This role demands a proactive approach to monitoring
security environments, handling incidents, and delivering
exceptional guest service with discretion and professionalism.
Monitor and patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of
intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Answer
alarms and investigate disturbances promptly. Monitor surveillance
cameras, operate security equipment, and maintain records of daily
activities. Implement security measures and safety protocols at the
hotel. Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to
employees and guests. Perform periodic checks of emergency call
boxes and other security equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Handle reports of incidents and provide detailed documentation as
required. Proficiency in surveillance systems and emergency
response. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to
handle crisis situations efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of
public safety and security protocols. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in
security training such as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
is advantageous. First Aid and CPR certifications are highly
valued.
