Women are the "backbone of the coffee supply chain" and are often underrepresented in this global economy. Cafenated Coffee is dedicated to sourcing and carefully roasting coffee from well-established women's coffee farm cooperatives.We are looking to grow our management team with a professional, highly motivated, and effective team-oriented General Manager.If you are someone who loves to interact with the staff and champion a great culture, we strongly encourage you to apply. You know how to motivate different personalities and train teams to keep up with all of the many nuanced health, ABC and safety codes required in Berkely.MANAGER:* Represents the company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner; Demonstrates a sense of pride, commitment, and passion for the brand and our customers, treats customers and staff members professionally, courteously, and respectfully* Interacts with guests and resolves guest complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner; Relays relevant comments from guests directly to supervisors* Continually hones our operational execution; schedules staffing levels to meet needs and maximize the guest experience* Ensures the right quantity of stock is in the right place at the right time* Receives inventory and ensures that orders are correct, eliminates wastage* Maintains and enforces sanitation and health code standards at all times with all staff members* Enforces all company tools, policies, and procedures - including Covid Protocols, coaches team members to maintain awareness, and report concerns* Interprets company policy for employees and enforces safety regulationsSTAFF DEVELOPMENT:- Provides timely feedback and active informal training to staff- Inspires and motivates team through demonstrating leadership qualities- Ensures staff are adhering to company Culture and Service expectations- Builds constructive relationships with the staff- Influences and supports others through building a presenceSPECIFIC DUTIES SUMMARY:-Daily oversite of front and back of the house issues-Scheduling of shifts and covers-Daily Timecard review-Oversight of issues (operational and customer service)-Performing Weekly Inventories-Receiving Orders-Problem-solving of issues-Supervises eventsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:-Two to four years of restaurant management experience is preferred-Flexibility with schedule -- hours will include evenings and weekends-Able to perform job functions with minimal supervision, attention to detail, and speed-Experience in supervising and managing staff-Strong Team Player-Customer Service ProYOU:-Manage time and priorities effectively-Like to solve problems and help your staff members-Can follow the guidance of the management team to meet the company policies, strategy, and culture-Enact the vision of the ownership-Value honesty, integrity, and active communication-Celebrate and embrace individuality, inclusion, and partnership-Your guest service sensibility is as strong as your interpersonal and communication skills-Maintain a proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, management, and employees while working under pressure and meet deadlines-Embrace innovation, change, and company initiatives, work collaboratively to accomplish brand goals and objectives.Please apply with your resume.
