Job Description Purpose of Role: mPulse Mobile is looking for a senior-level Software engineer to join our Implementation Services team. This role is primarily focused on the custom development of mobile applications in support of our messaging solutions. Responsibilities may include a combination of new feature development, API enhancement, optimization, client integration support, and product maintenance. The role will also include mentoring and training junior engineering team members. The ideal candidate is a senior software engineer with expertise in technologies such as Python, Django Postgres, React, and other web engineering technologies. He or she should also have a passion for making the consumer healthcare experience better using communication technology. PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis are all a plus --- You are an expert with event-based architectures using tools like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kinesis, etc. --- Extensive experience in writing unit tests and integration tests Minimum Requirements - Experience: --- US (United States) Citizen --- 5 years of professional experience with full-stack development. --- 5 years of experience building React-based SPAs or web applications, and familiarity with the latest patterns and best practices, functional components, and composition. Extensive angular experience may also be acceptable as an alternative to React. --- Expert knowledge working in Python and Node JS, with at least 5 years of professional experience developing web applications in server-side languages. --- 5 years developing Django applications. --- Professional expertise using containerization. --- Experience with Nomad/Hashisuite or similar (such as Ansible). --- Expert knowledge of JavaScript. -- Expert knowledge of SQL, Docker, Linux. --- Experience leveraging SVG in the context of building modern browser-based UX. --- Experience with Design systems such as InVision/Storybook is a plus. --- Strong communicator with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to designers, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders. --- Healthcare industry experience is a plus. Minimum Requirements - Education: --- BA/BS in Computer Science or other related engineering degree or 5 years of related experience to supplement educational requirements.
