Responsibilities:

• Develop backend software to support real-time collaboration services;
  
• Design and develop the communication framework for microservices;
  
• Monitor and assess the operation of backend services;
  
• Develop optimization techniques to improve the performance and scalability of backend microservices;
  
• Implement business logic in a gateway backend service written in Lua;
  
• Perform code reviews and make amendments to colleagues' C++ implementations.
  
  What we're looking for:
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or a foreign equivalent;
  
• 5 years of experience in the relevant occupation;
  
• 5 years of experience in C++ programming;
  
• 5 years of experience in Lua programming;
  
• 5 years of experience in real-time server development;
  
• 5 years of experience in gRPC framework design and development;
  
• 5 years of experience in gateway backend service development;
  
• 5 years of experience in asynchronous microservice communication development;
  
• 5 years of experience in synchronous REST API development;
  
• 5 years of experience in server performance optimization;
  
• Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work remotely within the U.S. without travel requirements.
  
  Additional Information:
  Salary Range: $172,600 - $228,700, with total direct compensation including bonus and equity.
  Work style: Hybrid, remote, or in-person, as indicated in the job posting.
