Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field,
or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in
program management. Experience in storage systems or infrastructure
systems. Experience with new product introduction (NPI) across
software or hardware products (architecture, development, launch).
Preferred qualifications: 5 years of experience managing
cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience with NPI
development, firmware, driving software quality and process
transformation. Experience in software engineering as a developer
or development manager, with an understanding of software
development processes, tools, software test/qualification, release
methodologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills with
the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical
audiences. Excellent program management skills, with the ability to
drive and land software programs. Excellent investigative,
problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills. About the

Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical
expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start

comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to
executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product
development with engineers. The Platforms Infrastructure
Engineering Program Management Office (PMO) is part of Technical
Infrastructure under ML, Systems, and Cloud AI (MSCA) programs
organization and partners with Google Compute Engine
(GCE)/Technical Infrastructure (TI) Engineering and Operations
teams to deliver a broad product roadmap of systems, hardware and
software critical to enabling Cloud and Google services. Our
organization provides technical program management, focusing on
increasing velocity, quality, predictability, and coordination
across teams. As part of the Platforms PMO team, Machine Learning
(ML) System PMO team leads the programs from concept to production.
We design, build and deliver industry-leading ML Systems for
internal Product Areas (PAs) and Cloud customers. As a Technical
Program Manager (TPM) for storage Software, you will be at the
forefront of Google’s AI infrastructure. You will drive the
software programs and New Product Initiatives (NPI). You will lead
the software programs that enable the development, bring-up, and
large-scale deployment of our next-generation Storage platforms.

problems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$163,000-$237,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

Responsibilities Lead system software development programs,
specifically focusing on Firmware/Software integration to support
the bring-up, testing, and validation of new storage generations.
Orchestrate planning and execution across partner teams, including
AI2, Vendors etc to ensure seamless integration of Storage software
into the broader Google ecosystem. Manage the delivery of allied
software components required to enable new NPI within the
production fleet, ensuring all reliability and performance
milestones are met. Provide critical Technical Program Manager
support for long-term roadmap development and resource allocation,
balancing immediate project needs with future infrastructure goals.
Apply technical judgment to identify systemic bottlenecks. Drive
initiatives that measurably improve software quality, developer
velocity, and release predictability.
