Job Description Job Description Position Summary: The primary
responsibility of this role is the administration and coordination
of all freight related activities. Accountable for the suitable
handling and processing of the product in the warehouse and for
assisting in the assigning of tasks to workers. Essential Job

essential function of the position. Assist in assigning work and
functions to staff Assist in other tasks in the warehouse as
directed by management including labeling, picking, loading and
offloading General understanding of inventory control processes and
procedures Assist in directing warehouse staff in the facility
Readily takes action on challenges, without unnecessary planning
Identifies and seizes new opportunities Steps up to handle tough
issues Is effective in a variety of communication settings:
one-on-one, small and large groups, or with internal and external

Assists with effective management in department work volume to meet

department needs in the day to day operations to Management Assist
with reconciling end of shift production paperwork, equipment
checklists, etc. Able to operate material handling equipment Work a
variety of shifts in order to accommodate customer demands Check
accuracy of freight moving in and out of warehouse Ability to bend,
turn, twist, kneel and/or squat up to 50% a day Ability to complete
task consisting of repetitive motion and reach above shoulders up
to 50% a day The employee must be able to lift, push, pull, carry
or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Perform department’s housekeeping
duties as assigned Partner with other team members to drive
department excellence Observe all company SOP’s Participate in
Safety Meetings Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience; such as Synapse
Intermediate experience with computer programs such as Outlook,
Excel and Word Experience with RF scan gun functions Able to
operate various types of material handling equipment, i.e., reach
truck, cherry picker, sit down, stand up reach, etc. Strong
analytical skills, independent thinking and reasoning ability
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Strong customer
service skills and accuracy in handling customers’ orders Manage
priorities in a timely and efficient manner within critical
deadlines Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook
Ability to communicate effectively Provides proven leadership to a
work team Above average written and verbal communication skills
along with strong interpersonal skills Education, Experiences,
Certificates/Licenses and/or Registrations: High School diploma or
GED Minimum 6 years of warehouse experience Minimum 1 year as a
certified operator of MHE Work Environment and Safety Equipment
Required: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is
regularly required to sit, walk and stand to perform work. Specific
vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color
vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. Computer use
requires good vision and ability to use keyboard. Ability to
manipulate data on computer screen. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate to noisy and the employee may be
exposed to extreme weather. The work environment is a general
warehouse/distribution environment with MHE operations. Reasonable
accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities
to perform the essential functions. Hearing protection must be worn
in designated areas. Fully enclosed shoes or safety shoes must we
worn in designated areas. Safety glasses must be worn in designated
