Clinical Research Coordinator - Full Time - Limited Term
Benefited Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Research Services
Supervisor and/or Physician, the Clinical Research Coordinator
provides support and assistance for the Research and Education
Institute's clinical trials. This individual works with staff in
the implementation of all research studies; gathers and transcribes
data onto case report forms; maintains regulatory paperwork;
Preserves investigational product, laboratory supplies and other
study related items; maintains data base records and reports as
Education: Bachelor's degree with a major in biological or life
science or equivalent experience in a related field required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year clinical research experience and a
minimum of 6 months recent experience in patient care setting
required. Candidates presenting with 5+ years of recent patient
care experience combined with strong administrative skill set in
lieu of the required clinical research experience may be
Knowledge: Medical terminology and knowledge required;
Computer and clerical skills required; excellent organizational
skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively, are
required. Citi Training, and IATA Certification (lab specimen
handling) if not present at hire, must be obtained within 3 months
of hire, vital signs and ECG experience preferred. Working
knowledge of Federal, State and local research regulations and
guidelines, including knowledge of IRB practices and guidelines

unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drug(s) identified as
hazardous, or potentially hazardous, by the National Institute for
Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for purposes of USP 800.
