THE ROLE

As a key member of the Talent and People Operations Team, you will help attract and retain top diverse talent by actively sourcing candidates, help build our employer brand, and provide an exceptional candidate experience. You will work closely with the head of talent and other hiring managers to understand our organizational needs and provide valuable impact in our shared goal of helping Covariant scale. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of talent to catapult your career. You will see firsthand the magic of contributing to growing a company from 65 people to over 100 and gain exposure in full-cycle recruiting, program building, and recruiting operations. AREAS OF FOCUS

YOU WILL

* Sourcing & Candidate Management * Partner with hiring managers and head of talent to understand hiring needs * Provide sourcing support for roles across all departments * Work closely with the head of talent to optimize outreach strategy for best results * Refine source messaging to improve candidate response metrics * Utilize Gem to build employer brand and cultivate a warm candidate pool * Serve as a subject matter expert on Covariants' recruiting process * When onsite, greet and make candidates feel welcome, ensuring that on-site interviews go smoothly * Nurture candidates through the process from initial contact through the offer with great care * Support recruiters and hiring managers in providing prompt updates and feedback to all candidates to ensure a supportive interview experience * Ensure error-free, on-brand job postings and written correspondence to candidates * Produce raving fans and future referrals, even with candidates that do not move forward in the process * Support the reference-check process and follow-up communication * Work with head of talent to help design the ideal candidate experience and employer brand * Support your team with recruiting events, both in the office and off-site

Recruiting Operations Support Head of Talent in scheduling and documenting (agenda, notes) team meetings Support the maintenance and documentation of all recruiting processes, compliance, and workflowSupport the maintenance of recruiting analyticsSupport the maintenance of all Lever data and templates Ensure all collateral and external messaging optimizes Covariants' employer brandEnsure compliance with all local laws in job descriptions and interview processes

YOU HAVE

* 1+ year(s) of technical sourcing experience * Successful track record for identifying and gaining interest from passive candidates in highly competitive industries * Ability to accurately vet technical resumes * Ability to effectively "sell" the company's value proposition to candidates * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of integrity * High bar of execution * Ability to juggle multiple projects/roles in a fast-paced environment * Deep passion for learning

SAMPLE WEEK IN THE LIFE

* Monday: Attend daily Standup, answer 25+ slack messages, document notes from team standup attend a role kick-off, setup your sourcing campaigns for the week, identify and reach out to 150 people across 3 different roles, Enjoying a virtual coffee chat with a team member who heralds from a very different field

Tuesday: Attending daily Standup, attend company All Hands meetings Tuesdays and Thursdays to get an update on our latest product development, review your sourcing campaigns in Gem and monitor their performance, setup intro calls for others to conduct, 2 onsite interviews, greeting candidates and providing tour of space, answer 30+ slacks and emails

Wednesday: Attend daily Standup, attend working session with head of talent to strategize on sourcing strategies and diversity initiatives, support hiring managers with resume reviewing, provide candidates updates and schedule next steps, answer 30+ emails and slacks

Thursday: Attend daily Standup, attend company All Hands, shadow recruiter in 2 phone screens, source 100 candidates for our engineering roles, ensure interviewer feedback is completed in Lever, answer 25 emails and slacks

Friday: Attend daily Standup, review sourcing metrics from the week & reflect on what worked well and what roles need more support, attend 1:1 weekly debrief with your manager, give candidates good news before the weekend and schedule next steps, attend hiring manager debrief sessions, begin planning strategy for the next week
