This Medical Center is looking for their Labor and Delivery
Assistant Nurse Manager to manage unit’s day to day clinical
operations including practice standards, staffing, payroll.
Budgets, fiscal management, and quality improvement. The single
unit will have anywhere from 20 to 60+ employees. The Assistant
Nurse Manager must be able to work with 60+ employees and
effectively lead a team while assuming specific responsibility for
patient care at the unit level. This Maternal Child Health unit
will have high volume and will also collaborate with the level III
NICU facility. The Assistant Nurse Leader of Labor and Delivery
will report to the Manager of Labor and Delivery but will handle
managerial tasks similar to the Manager. This Labor and Delivery
Assistant Manager will be responsible for handing off the unit to
the night shift unit Assistant Manager.
