Job Description:

Performs duties directly involving technical procedures in diagnostic x-ray. General guidance and direction is provided by the Supervisor, Radiologist and Assistant Director. Provides leadership for technical and support staff. Is responislbe for providing adequate coverage and for coordinating work flow and activities within areas of responsibilities. This position must work with many other departments to insure excellence in patient care. This position requires the lead to be available for call, as needed. Education: HS Diploma Or equivalent education/experience Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school. License and/or Certification: Radiology Fluoroscopy - RHF American Registry of Radiologic Technologist - ARRT Basic Life Support Certification - BLS Certified Radiologic Technologist - CRT Experience: Competent in professional/technical and leadership skills as determined to be adequate by the Director. At least two years of experience as a Sr. Radiologic Technologist.
