      Job ResponsibilitiesThis position will primarily focus on conducting CHO cell culture evaluation and process development in shake flasks and bench scale bioreactors. The successful candidate will be involved in upstream process development of our pipeline programs, including clone evaluation, process parameter optimization, and generation of material to support downstream and analytical development. Strong aseptic techniques and laboratory skills and experience in mammalian cell culture procedures is required. Will require some occasional weekend/off-shift work as needed.
      Roles and Responsibilities - Generate materials in mini to small-scale bioreactors to support R&D, downstream and analytical development. - Participate in planning, design and execution of upstream process development/optimization experiments; interpret and present experimental results - Perform cell line evaluation in shake flasks and bioreactors and generate technical reports - Maintain accurate data recording in laboratory notebooks and draft scientific reports as required - Compile data for technical reports using Microsoft Office and present scientific results at internal team meetings - Maintain laboratory supplies and a safe and clean laboratory environment
      Qualifications and Educational Requirements - Master's degree or native equivalent in scientific discipline with 3-5 years relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree or native equivalent with 5+ years relevant experience.
      Supplementary Skills: - Excellent mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques - Some knowledge of cGMP manufacturing processes including experience with Ambr bioreactor system - Previous experience with Finesse Controller (DeltaV) and Eppendorf DasGip bioreactor systems
      Competencies: - Strong organizational and time management skills
      Effective verbal and written communication. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting
