If you're hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there's only one choice.Product Specialist Manufacturing IT Bayer U.S. LLC's Berkeley, CA, office seeks a Product Specialist Manufacturing IT to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to be responsible for: (i) generating the specification, design and implementation of new MES systems at the manufacturing site; (ii) interacting with business partners, at the plant site, to integrate DCS (Distributed Control System) systems into the MES system; (iii) creating and maintaining documentation in order to assure GMP compliance, batch record and data integrity; (iv) providing production support and maintenance of solutions; (v) supporting digitalization efforts of the PS organization in the manufacturing area by following the PS-IT strategy; and (vi) supporting and managing the development of the respective systems or digital technology and realizing specific use cases.Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a directly related technical discipline plus three (3) years of experience in a related position.Must also have any experience with or knowledge of: (i) MES project implementations at manufacturing sites of a major MES supplier like Werum, Siemens, Emerson, or Rockwell; (ii) GxP systems and their corresponding validation processes using computer validation tools such as Valgenesis; (iii) generation and execution of FAT and SAT protocols; (iv) integration of MES to respective ERP systems, preferably to SAP; and (v) any of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Python, SQL.Experience can be concurrent.Apply at, #72700172, or with resume, salary requirements, and reference to #72700172 (Product Specialist Manufacturing IT).YOUR APPLICATIONBayer offers a wide variety of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
