  • Prepare, record, and process accounts payable and cash disbursement, and accounts receivable and cash receipts.
  • Input Account Payable Invoices.
  • Review Sales Turn Over files from Sales department.
  • Making sure all deposits and final balance are collected before the group arrive for the non-direct bill accounts.
  • Send Account Receivable Invoices for direct bill accounts in timely manner.
  • Review AR aging and make sure payment is received within the payment term.
  • Reconcile daily Income Journal.
  • Assist with monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
  • Perform monthly House Banks audit.
  • Perform monthly F&B Inventory audit.
  • Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner.
  • Helping other departments when needed.

    • Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
    • Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, as established by the Hotel from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of the position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
    • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the department. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: OSHA Laws require the use of the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health or safety: --- None SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. 1. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Ability in Spanish is a plus.2. Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process. 3. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. 4. Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader. There is minimal direct supervision.5. Must possess good computational ability. 6. Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Delphi.7. Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.8. Knowledge of hotel and competitive market.9. Ability to analyze data and establish appropriate action plans.10. Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour issues, and labor relations, including, but not limited to the following statutes and their state and local analogues (where applicable): Title VII, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, FLSA, ADA, OSHA, FMLA, and NLRA.QUALIFICATION STANDARDS EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school required and some college preferred, or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, also is acceptable. EXPERIENCE:
      • Must understand basic accounting principles and have a combination of education, training or experience that provides the required accounting knowledge, skills, and abilities.
      • Experience with multi-user accounting system required, Peach Tree helpful.
      • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
      • Superior customer service skills and commitment to excellence.
      • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
      • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
      • Ability to work independently as well as a team member.
