FocusKPI is looking for a User Researcher to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company.
Work Location:
Mountain View, CA
Duration:
12-month contract; hybrid role (on-site 4 days a week)
Pay Range:
$70/hr to $80/hr
Responsibilities:

• Perform competitive research to analyze industry trends, identify competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and recommend actionable insights.
  
• Engage in market research to understand the target audience and market conditions, supporting product development and marketing strategies.
  
• Conduct UX research focused on understanding user needs, behaviors, and preferences to improve product usability.
  
• Develop and deliver polished presentations to communicate research findings clearly and effectively.
  
• Conduct ongoing research into competitors and market trends, contributing to long-term strategic planning rather than single-project initiatives.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
• 4-7 years of relevant experience.
  
• Education: Undergraduate degree in a relevant field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  
• Experience with UX skills and research is mandatory.
  
• Proficiency with Figma and other modern tools for organizing and visually presenting findings to stakeholders.
  
• Experience working with B2B products or the ability to quickly learn technical B2B product intricacies.
  
• Ability to lead research projects independently and persuade leadership with research insights.
  
• Capability to conduct ongoing research into competitors and market trends, contributing to strategic planning.
  
• Flexibility to adapt and shift gears quickly to achieve results and support quick stakeholder decisions, relying on secondary research methods like surveys and desktop research.
