We have a brand-new opportunity for a Deskside Technician to join our client onsite in the Berkeley, CA area. This role will be supporting a PC replacement project - building PC's, pulling out drives and e-waste, Win10, reimaging, adding VPN, and follow checklists as needed.



PC Replacement Project Overview:

• 
  Windows10 environment
  
  
• 
  Image and / or re-image 400+ desktops and laptops
  
  
• 
  Remove drives for e-waste
  
  
• 
  Add VPN
  
  
• 
  Support and troubleshoot Windows10
  
  
• 
  May troubleshoot printers and other computer peripherals
  
  
• 
  May troubleshoot problems with network connectivity
  
  
• 
  Broad experience in IT with basic understanding of networks and servers
  
  
• 
  Assist users with logging into their PC and troubleshooting, as required

  Qualifications and Skills:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 
    1 - 2 years of experience in desktop support
    
    
  • 
    Windows10 experience
    
    
  • 
    Experience imaging / re-imaging PCs and laptops
    
    
  • 
    PC hardware installation and troubleshooting experience
    
    
  • 
    Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
    
    
  • 
    Excellent communication and customer service skills
