more.As People Operations Analyst, you will own critical HR
operations across several areas to meet the needs of our people. As
part of these efforts, you will collaborate with a talented,
accomplished, and experienced group of colleagues from a variety of
functions in machine learning, finance, and technology. You will be
a part of our small, tight-knit People Operations team. Your
efforts will help shape the future of our organization. This role
is a means to make a difference: you will engage in some of our
highest-priority operational efforts, and you provide essential
services to our employees.Responsibilities
- Execute core people/HR operations, including payroll, 401(k)
administration, benefits administration, and HRIS administration
for a -200 person US employee population and -20 person
international employee population
- Complete on-and off-cycle payroll processing activities, for
multi-state U.S. and international payrolls, accurately, timely,
and efficiently
- Process state notices, including disability claims, UI rate
updates, tax delinquencies, etc.
- Complete key payroll projects, including W2 distribution,
quarterly tax report reviews, state payroll and tax set-up,
etc.
- Support benefits administration across 401(k), health and
welfare benefits, leaves of absence, and workers compensation
- Participate in annual benefits projects, including open
enrollment, annual 401k NDT testing and audit support, open
enrollment, and wellness initiatives
- Support HRIS administration
- Monitor all file feeds to ensure information and records are
accurate and reconcile.
- Liaison with Finance Team to ensure awareness and information
sharing across critical cross-functional tasks including 401k
funding, tax-related inquiries, etc.
- Review payroll & benefit related invoices
- Address employee questions and inquiries related to payroll and
benefits
- Manage internal employee records and data including HRIS,
employee files, etc.. Ensure data integrity and perform periodic
audits.
- Generate standard reports (and ad hoc reports) from HRIS,
payroll, and other sources
- Ensure that the company meets legal, compliance, regulatory,
and tax requirements in cooperation with our legal/compliance and
finance teamsRequirements
- At least three years of experience in a related role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll laws and company/tax set-up;
experience with UK payroll and benefits is a plus
- Knowledge of compliance standards for payroll and benefits
- Benefits administration knowledge is a plus
- Strong HRIS data entry/audit skills & some experience with
standard reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceThe base salary range
for this position is $100,000 to $110,000 in the location(s) of
this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety
of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience,
knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include
other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and
other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental and
vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time
