Job Description:
About the Role:The role will support the ballpark's audio/visual
operations by assisting A/V engineers with the setup, operation,
and maintenance of all A/V equipment. Responsibilities include
providing user training, supporting Giants games and Giants
Enterprises events, and assisting with repairs to LED displays. The
position involves maintaining an accurate inventory of equipment
supplies, cleaning and transporting cables, and making broadcast
connections including triax, coax, fiber, and SMPTE/fiber at camera
I/O panels. Additional duties include patching audio and video
signals for one-off events throughout the ballpark, acting as
engineer-in-charge for Giants Enterprises events, and
troubleshooting technical issues in coordination with
manufacturers' support teams. Candidates must be available to work
nights, weekends, and holidays.You're excited about this
opportunity because you will: - You have the proven ability to
continually adapt and learn new procedures, systems and software
applications. - You can communicate and collaborate using a variety
of synchronous meeting tools (i.e., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.). -
You are very good at verbal and written communications with
vendors, IT and Giant's Productions staff. - You are a reliable,
self-directed person who performs well in a high-pressure
environment. - You have excellent time management skills. - You
have experience using video and audio editing
software.Qualifications: - High School Diploma/GED. - Some related
experience - Experience troubleshooting video signal flow over
fiber, SDI, SMPTE, and HDMI. - Experience with production
switchers, video replay equipment, broadcast cameras, and graphics
machines. - Ability to read and understand A/V engineering
drawings. - Familiarity with Ross Acuity switcher, Ross Xpression,
Evertz Magnum routers, DreamCatcher replay systems and Sony cameras
a plus. - Experience using Microsoft Office 365 and Google Drive -
Driver's license and reliable transportation.Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. - Must be able to regularly
climb and work from ladders up to heights of 35 feet; lifting
equipment, tools, and materials. - Must be able to work in high
locations.$30 - $35 an hourAt the San Francisco Giants, we
carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining
compensation, including your background and experience. These
considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The hourly rate
for this position will be $30.00-$35.00/ hourIn addition to your
pay, the San Francisco Giants believe in providing a competitive
